Let the River Rest! Minga Rescate Río San Pedro in Parque Los Algarrobos in Quito, Ecuador

El Colectivo Rescate Río San Pedro in Quito, Ecuador is hosting an inter-faith / ecumenical minga, a community work day, in the Parque Los Algarrobos to clean up the Río San Pedro, relieving the river of its burden of garbage so that the river can rest.

An early morning bird walk, a river meditation and blessing, and environmental educational stands will help further weave community, decorating the day with beauty, joy, and inspiring ideas.
